LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST SB 802, Torlakson. Transportation: interregional road system. Existing law requires certain transportation funds made available for transportation capital improvement projects to be programmed and expended in specified amounts for interregional improvements and regional improvements. Existing law specifies the state highway routes that are included in the interregional road system and the state highway routes that are eligible interregional and intercounty routes. This bill would include a portion of State Highway Route 84 and all of State Highway Route 239 as eligible interregional and intercounty routes. THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 164.14 of the Streets and Highways Code is amended to read: 164.14. For purposes of Section 164.3, the eligible interregional and intercounty routes include the following: Route 70, between Route 99 north of Sacramento and Route 395. Route 74. Route 78. Route 79, between Route 8 and Route 10. Route 80. Route 84, between Route 580 and Route 4. Route 86, between Route 111 in Brawley and Route 10. Route 88. Route 89. SEC. 2. Section 164.19 of the Streets and Highways Code is amended to read: 164.19. For purposes of Section 164.3, the eligible interregional and intercounty routes include the following: Route 203. Route 205. Route 207. Route 215. Route 239. Route 243. Route 267. Route 299, between Route 101 and Route 89, and between Route 139 and Route 395.
