                                                                  Page 2

             h) Disseminate materials and curriculum to all middle and
               high schools.

2)Requires the Chancellor of the Community Colleges to develop
and implementation strategy to address the above objectives,
as part of an annual expenditure plan submitted to the
advisory committee for the California Community Colleges
Economic and Workforce Development Programs and the Board of
            Governors.

secondary school educators collaborate with college faculty in
            implementing this section.

4)Makes the above requirements operative only in fiscal years in
which the Legislature appropriates funds for this purpose.

5)Requires the Board of Governors, in collaboration with the
California Department of Education, to produce a report and
submit it to interested parties by July 1, 2007. The report
            shall include:

             a) Information on the capacity of high schools and
community colleges to support integrated four-year programs

Reversion Account funds and $193,000 in federal Carl Perkins
          vocational education funds.

COMMENTS : The 2005 Budget Act appropriated $20 million in
Proposition 98 Reversion Account funds for the above purposes,
