   An act to add Section 429.8 to the Government Code, relating to
state emblems.

   SB 906, Ashburn  Calico: official state silver rush ghost town.
   Existing law designates Bodie as the official state gold rush
ghost town.
   This bill would designate Calico as the official state silver rush
ghost town.


THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:


  SECTION 1.  Section 429.8 is added to the Government Code, to read:

   429.8.  Calico is the official state silver rush ghost town.
