AB 874, as introduced, Davis. Human services.
Existing law imposes various duties on certain state agencies and
departments relating to the provision of human services for qualified
individuals, including child welfare services, food stamps, and
social services.
This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact
subsequent legislation that would increase the state's capacity to
provide human services, including welfare benefits.

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. It is the intent of the Legislature to enact subsequent
legislation that would increase the state's capacity to provide
human services, including welfare benefits.
