   An act relating to state land.


	LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


   AB 2392, as introduced, Garcia. Excess state land: state park
system.
   Existing law requires the Department of General Services to report
annually to the Legislature regarding state land that has been
reported in excess of the foreseeable needs of the state and request
authorization to dispose of that land.
   This bill would declare the intent of the Legislature to enact
legislation that would designate 48 units of the state park system as
excess property of the state.
   Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.


THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  SECTION 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature to enact
legislation that would designate 48 units of the state park system as
excess property of the state.
