	LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


   SB 1484, as introduced, Alquist. Public resources: clean
technology: business incentives.
   Existing law generally regulates certain activities with regard to
the use of, or detriment to, public resources, including, but not
limited to, air and water resources and wildlife, coastal, and park
land.
   This bill would declare the intent of the Legislature to create
incentives for clean technology developers to manufacture in
California.
   Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.


THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  SECTION 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature to create
incentives for clean technology developers to manufacture in
California.
