   An act to amend Section 92 of the Streets and Highways Code,
relating to transportation.

   Existing law authorizes the Department of Transportation to engage
in any act necessary, convenient, or proper for the construction,
improvement, or use of all highways under its jurisdiction.
   This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to these provisions.
   Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.


THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  SECTION 1.  Section 92 of the Streets and Highways Code is amended
to read:
   92.  The department may do any act necessary, convenient  ,
 or proper for the construction, improvement, maintenance  ,
 or use of all highways  which   that
 are under its jurisdiction, possession  ,  or control.
