To the Members of the California State Assembly:
I am returning Assembly Bill 1222 without my signature.
This bill extends the sunset date on a statute that is not expiring
until January 1, 2011.  Therefore, this bill is premature and
unnecessary.
For these reasons, I am unable to sign this bill.
