   An act to amend Section 25200 of the Public Resources Code,
relating to energy.


	LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


   AB 1711, as introduced, Villines. State Energy Resources
Conservation and Development Commission: membership.
   Under existing law, the State Energy Resources Conservation and
Development Commission (Energy Commission) in the Natural Resources
Agency consists of 5 members appointed by the Governor.
   This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change in that
provision.
   Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.


THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  SECTION 1.  Section 25200 of the Public Resources Code is amended
to read:
   25200.  There is in the  Natural  Resources Agency the
State Energy Resources Conservation and Development Commission,
consisting of five members appointed by the Governor subject to
Section 25204.
