           DIGEST  :     Assembly Amendments  delete the prior version  
          expressing the intent of the Legislature to make statutory  
          changes relating to the Budget Act of 2008.

          This bill now makes necessary reductions to the 2009  
          Budget, as it relates to the State Controller's budget.

           ANALYSIS  :    This bill makes changes to the 2009 Budget by  
          reducing $1 million General Fund from the State  
          Controller's budget.  It also includes budget language  
          specifying that no funds shall be provided for modular  
          furniture, as specified.
