   An act to amend Section 11150 of the Government Code, relating to
state policies.


	LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


   AB 1138, as introduced, Harkey. State policies.
   Existing law states that it is the policy of this state to vest in
the Governor the civil administration of the laws of the state and
for the purposes of aiding the Governor in the execution and
administration of the laws to divide the executive and administrative
work into departments as provided by law.
   This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to this
law.
   Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.


THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  SECTION 1.  Section 11150 of the Government Code is amended to
read:
   11150.  It is the policy of this  State  
state  to vest in the Governor the civil administration of the
 state  laws  of the State  and for the
purpose of aiding   helping  the Governor
in the execution and administration of the laws to divide the
executive and administrative work into departments as provided by
law.
