relating to redevelopment.

	LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST

AB 1250, as introduced, Alejo. Redevelopment: planning.
The Community Redevelopment Law authorizes the establishment of
redevelopment agencies in communities to address the effects of
blight, as defined, in blighted areas in those communities known as
project areas. Existing law requires each agency to prepare a
redevelopment plan for each project area and to consult with the
planning commission of the community and with the project area
committee, if applicable.
This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to this
provision of law.
Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.
