An act to amend Section 901 of the Streets and Highways Code,
relating to county highways.

AB 1619, as introduced, Donnelly. County highways.
Existing law provides that a county highway, once established,
shall continue to be a county highway until abandoned by order of the
board of supervisors, by operation of law, or by judgment of a
court.
This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to this provision.

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 901 of the Streets and Highways Code is amended
to read:
901. All A county
highways highway , once established,
shall continue to be a county highways
highway until abandoned by order of the board of
supervisors of the county in which such highways are
the highway is situated, by operation of law, or
by judgment of a court of competent jurisdiction. No county highway
laid out by the board of supervisors as provided in this division, or
used and worked as provided in this division, shall be abandoned or
cease to be a county highway except as prescribed in this section.
