An act to amend Section 136 of the Health and Safety Code,
relating to public health.

AB 2384, as introduced, Bonilla. Women's health: interagency task
force.
Existing law requires the California Health and Human Services
Agency to establish an interagency task force on women's health.
This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to these
provisions.
Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 136 of the Health and Safety Code is amended to
read:
136. (a) The California Health and Human Services Agency shall
establish an interagency task force on women's health that is
composed of representatives of the State Department of Health
Care Services, the State Department of Public Health, the State
Department of Developmental Services, the State Department of Social
Services, the State Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs, and the
Major Risk Medical Insurance Program.
(b) The State Department of Education, the Department of Housing
and Community Development, the office of the Attorney General, the
State Department of Mental Health, and the Department of Corrections
and Rehabilitation may participate with the interagency
task force on women's health when necessary to implement the state
strategy developed pursuant to Section 137.
