An act to amend Section 14002 of the Business and Professions
Code, relating to business rights.

Existing law provides for the registration of trademarks, trade
names and designations, container and laundry-supply brands, and farm
names. Existing law defines the scope of agency for these purposes.
This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to these
provisions.

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 14002 of the Business and Professions Code is
amended to read:
14002. Every act which, that,
according to this division, may be done by or to any person, may be
done by or to the agent of such person for that purpose, unless a
contrary intention clearly appears.
