	LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST

SB 1370, Berryhill. Prevailing wages: public works: director: code
list.
Existing law generally requires that not less than the general
prevailing rate of per diem wages, as specified, be paid to workers
employed on a public work, as defined.
This bill would require the Director of Industrial Relations to
post a list of every California code section and the language of
those sections that relate to the prevailing wage rate requirements
for workers employed on a public work project on the Internet Web
site of the Department of Industrial Relations on or before June 1,
2013, and update that list each February 1 thereafter.

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. Section 1730 is added to the Labor Code, to read:
1730. The Director of Industrial Relations shall post a list of
every California code section and the language of those sections that
relate to the prevailing rate of per diem wage requirements for
workers employed on a public work project on the Internet Web site of
the Department of Industrial Relations on or before June 1, 2013,
and shall update that list each February 1 thereafter.
