	BILL TEXT

INTRODUCED BY Senator Kehoe

                        FEBRUARY 24, 2012

An act to amend Section 10630 of the Water Code, relating to
water.

	LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST

SB 1558, as introduced, Kehoe. Urban water management plans.
The Urban Water Management Planning Act requires an urban water
supplier to prepare and adopt an urban water management plan that
identifies and quantifies the existing and planned sources of water
available to the water supplier's service area, based on specified
factors. The act states the intent of the Legislature, in enacting
the act, to permit levels of water management planning commensurate
with the number of customers served and the volume of water supplied.

This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to that
intent provision.
Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
