LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST SB 1558, as introduced, Kehoe. Urban water management plans. The Urban Water Management Planning Act requires an urban water supplier to prepare and adopt an urban water management plan that identifies and quantifies the existing and planned sources of water available to the water supplier's service area, based on specified factors. The act states the intent of the Legislature, in enacting the act, to permit levels of water management planning commensurate with the number of customers served and the volume of water supplied.
