AB 27, as amended, Medina. University of California: UC Riverside Medical School: funding.

Existing provisions of the California Constitution establish the University of California as a public trust under the administration of the Regents of the University of California. The University of California system includes 10 campuses, which are begin delete respectively end delete located in Berkeley, Davis, Irvine, Los Angeles, Merced, Riverside, San Diego, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, and Santa Cruz.

This bill would begin insert annually end insert appropriate $15,000,000 from the General Fund to the Regents of the University of California for allocation begin delete , without regard to fiscal year, end delete to the School of Medicine at the University of California, Riverside.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

SECTION 1.  

The sum of fifteen million dollars ($15,000,000)
