           SUMMARY  

          This measure designates, as the "Jimmy A. Arevalo Memorial  
          Highway," the portion of State Route (SR) 8 between mile posts  
          27.30 and 28.46 in San Diego County.

           FISCAL EFFECT  

          Minor State Highway Account costs to Caltrans to make and erect  
          appropriate signs; these costs are fully covered by donations.

           COMMENTS  

           Purpose  . This measure honors Mr. Arevalo, who taught for 34  
          years in the Calexico Unified School District and was killed in  
          a multivehicle crash on SR 8 on June 11, 2012.
