           SUMMARY  

          This measure designates, as the "CHP Officer Kenneth E. Marshall  
          Memorial Interchange," the interchange of U.S. Route 101 and  
          State Route 200 in Humboldt County.

           FISCAL EFFECT  

          Minor State Highway Account costs to Caltrans to make and erect  
          appropriate signs; these costs are fully covered by donations.

           COMMENTS  

           Purpose  . This measure honors Officer Marshall, a five-year  
          veteran of the CHP who was killed on January 9, 1968 when  
          pursuing a speeding motorist.
