	LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


   AB 241, as introduced, Ammiano. Domestic workers: protections.
   Existing law generally provides employees with protection
regarding wages, hours, and working conditions.
   This bill would declare the intent of the Legislature to enact
legislation to provide labor protection for domestic work employees.

   Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.


THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  SECTION 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature to enact
legislation to provide labor protection for domestic work employees.
