Ensuring access to courses for these specialized student bodies is an integral component to their success. However, the Chancellor's Office determined in 2012 that a modification in education code was necessary to continue to offer top tier priority enrollment to students in these programs. AB 595 will provide this needed modification of the law so the Community College Chancellor's Office can offer EOPS and DSPS students top tier registration."
