Existing law requires the county board of education to hold a public hearing on the proposed county school service fund budget for that fiscal year. Existing law further requires that the agenda for that hearing be posted at least 72 hours prior to the hearing and that it include the location where the budget will be available for inspection.

Existing law requires the Board of Governors of the California Community Colleges to collect and maintain information related to career technical education and technical training within the California Community Colleges for inclusion within the integrated statewide information system.

Section 8006 of the Education Code is amended
18to read:
(a) There is, in the department a career technical
20education staff responsible for the design, implementation, and
21maintenance of a basic integrated statewide information system
22for career technical education and technical training. The Board
23of Governors of the California Community Colleges shall collect
24and maintain information related to career technical education and
25technical training within the California Community Colleges for
26inclusion within the integrated statewide information system.
27(b) The data
gathering and analysis capabilities of the system
28described in subdivision (a) shall include, but not be limited to,
29maintaining comprehensive inventory of all programs of all career
30technical education and technical training programs that are
31maintained by the public schools.
