An act relating to emergency medical services.

AB 867, as introduced, Yamada. Emergency medical services.

Existing law, the Emergency Medical Services System and the Prehospital Emergency Medical Care Personnel Act, provides a statewide system for emergency medical services by establishing the Emergency Medical Services Authority, which is responsible for the coordination and integration of all state activities concerning emergency medical services.

This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation that would ensure the safety of air medical personnel, pilots, and patients while flying.

Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no. State-mandated local program: no.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:
