Existing law generally regulates the governance of cities, counties, and cities and counties.

This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation that would amend the Government Code.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

SECTION 1.  

It is the intent of the Legislature to enact
subsequent legislation to amend the Government Code, relating
to local government.
