Existing law defines a deadly weapon as any weapon, the possession or concealed carrying of which is prohibited by any specified provisions of law. THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 16430 of the Penal Code is amended to read: 16430. As used in Division 4 (commencing with Section 18250) of Title 2, "deadly weapon" means any weapon, the possession or concealed carrying of which is prohibited by any
provisionof the provisions listed in Section 16590.
