   An act relating to public postsecondary education.


	LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


   AB 1025, as introduced, Garcia. Postsecondary education:
College-level examination programs.
   Existing law establishes 3 segments of public postsecondary
education in the state, the California State University, administered
by the Trustees of the California State University, the California
Community Colleges, administered by the Board of Governors of the
California Community Colleges, and the University of California,
administered by the Regents of the University of California.
   This bill would express the intent of the Legislature to enact
legislation relating to the state use of college-level examination
program credits.
   Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.


THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  SECTION 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature to enact
legislation relating to the state use of college-level examination
program credits.
