An act relating to vehicles.

LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL’S DIGEST

AB 1314, as introduced, Bloom. Vehicles: compressed natural gas.

Existing law requires all motor vehicles with compressed natural gas fuel systems used for propulsion to comply either with specified regulations or with certain federal standards.

This bill would declare the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation to ensure the reliability and safety of compressed natural gas vehicles by addressing the inspection of cylinders and tank brackets on these vehicles.

Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no. State-mandated local program: no.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

SECTION 1.  

It is the intent of the Legislature to enact

3gas vehicles by addressing the inspection of cylinders and tank
4brackets on these vehicles.
