SUBJECT : Distributed energy resources: tariffs.
SUMMARY : Deletes an obsolete reporting requirement.
Specifically, this bill :
1)Deletes the reference to the report the California Public
Utilities Commission (PUC) is required to prepare and submit
to the Legislature on or before June 1, 2002, that describes
its proposed methodology for determining the new rates and the
process by which it will establish those rates.
EXISTING LAW : Requires the PUC to prepare and submit to the
Legislature, on or before June 1, 2002, a report describing its
proposed methodology for determining the new rates and the
process by which it will establish those rates. (Public
Utilities Code 353.13)
FISCAL EFFECT : Unknown.
COMMENTS : This bill deletes an obsolete reporting requirement
from the Public Utilities Code.
