Under existing law, the commission, among other things, administers the Cal Grant awards, the Assumption Program of Loans for Education, the Graduate Assumption Program of Loans for Education, and the Middle Class Scholarship Program. The commission also administers the state’s participation in the Federal Family Education Loan Program.
