Existing law requires the Judicial Council to provide two
begin delete annualend delete reports each year to the Joint Legislative Budget Committee and the State Auditor that begin delete providesend delete information related to the procurement of contracts for the judicial branch.
This bill would require the
begin delete two annualend delete reports to include a list of all contracts, begin delete contract history of amendmentsend delete, and other specified information about how and to whom the contract was let. begin delete Thisend delete bill would also require the reports to be provided in an electronic format, as specified.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:
Section 19209 of the Public Contract Code is
2amended to read:
(a) Notwithstanding Section 10231.5 of the
4Government Code, beginning in 2012, twice each year, the Judicial
P2 1Council shall provide a report to the Joint Legislative Budget
2Committee and the State Auditor that provides information related
3to procurement of contracts for the judicial branch. One report
4shall be provided no later than February 1 of each year, covering
5the period from July 1 through December 31 of the prior year, and
6the second report shall be provided no later than August 1 of each
7year, covering the period from January 1 through June 30 of the
9(b) Each of the
begin delete two annualend delete reports shall include a
10list of all vendors or contractors receiving payments from any
11judicial branch entities. For each vendor or contractor receiving
12any payment during the reporting period, the report shall provide
13a separate listing for each distinct contract between that vendor or
14contractor and a judicial branch entity. For every vendor or
15contractor listed in the report, including for each distinct contract
16for those contractors or vendors with more than one payment during
17the period, the report shall further identify the amount of payment
18to the contractor or vendor, the type of service or good provided,
19and the judicial branch entity or entities with which the vendor or
20contractor was contracted to provide that service or good.
21(c) Each of the two annual reports shall include a list of all
22contract amendments, and the contract history for each amendment,
23including the dates and amounts of its amendments, made during
24the report period. For each amendment, the report shall identify
25the vendor or contractor, the type of service or good provided
26under the contract, the nature of the amendment, the duration of
27the amendment, and the cost of the amendment.
28(d) Each of the two annual reports shall include a list of all
29contracts entered into during the report period, including the dates,
30amounts, and durations of the contracts.

4identify whether the contract was with a disabled veteran business
