	LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


   AB 2270, as introduced, Ting. Energy and resource efficient
housing.
   Existing law establishes various programs to promote the
development and preservation of energy efficient housing throughout
the state.
   This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact
legislation that would promote the creation of energy and resource
efficient homes in California.
   Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.


THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  SECTION 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature to enact
legislation to promote the creation of energy and resource efficient
homes in California.
