An act to amend Section 14131 of the Welfare and Institutions
Code, relating to Medi-Cal.

Existing law provides for the Medi-Cal program, which is
administered by the State Department of Health Care Services, under
which qualified low-income individuals receive health care services.
The Medi-Cal program is, in part, governed and funded by federal
Medicaid Program provisions. Existing law provides for a
department-administered uniform schedule of health care benefits and
provides that health care services shall be limited, as specified.
This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to this
provision.

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 14131 of the Welfare and Institutions Code is
amended to read:
14131. The Medi-Cal Benefits Program comprises
is comprised of a department-administered uniform
schedule of health care benefits. Notwithstanding any other provision
of this chapter, "health care services" shall be limited to the
benefits set forth in this article and in Section 14021.
