           DIGEST  :    This resolution designates a portion of State Route  
          (SR) 25 in San Benito County as the Pinnacles National Park  
          Highway.

           ANALYSIS  :    On January 10, 2013, President Obama signed  
          legislation creating Pinnacles National Park from the former  
          Pinnacles National Monument.  According to the author of this  
          resolution, many of the nearly 400,000 tourists who visit the  
          park each year use SR 25.  Renaming portions of this highway  
          will celebrate the recent change to national park status and  
          make it easier for travelers to locate Pinnacles National Park.

          This resolution designates the segment of SR 25 in San Benito  
          County from the southern county border with Monterey County to  
          Sunnyslope Road in Hollister, and the segment from San Felipe

          County as the Pinnacles National Park Highway.
