           SUMMARY  

          This measure designates, as the "Tuskegee Airmen Memorial  
          Highway," the portion of Interstate 80 between Midway Road and  
          the State Route12 East interchange in Solano County.

           FISCAL EFFECT  

          Minor State Highway Account costs to Caltrans to make and erect  
          appropriate signs; these costs are fully covered by donations.

           COMMENTS  

           Purpose  . This measure honors the Tuskegee Airmen, who during  
          World War II became the first group of African-Americans to  
          serve as pilots in the U.S. Armed Forces.
