   Relative to the Joint Rules for the 2013-14 First Extraordinary
Session.

   SCR 1, as introduced, Steinberg. Joint Rules.
   This measure on the date of the adoption of Senate Concurrent
Resolution No. 5, adopts the proposed Joint Rules of the Senate and
Assembly for the 2013-14 Regular Session, as set forth in that
measure, as the Joint Rules, except as specified, for the 2013-14
First Extraordinary Session.
   Fiscal committee: no.



   Resolved by the Senate of the State of California, the Assembly
thereof concurring, That, on the date of the adoption of Senate
Concurrent Resolution No. 5, the proposed Joint Rules of the Senate
and Assembly for the 2013-14 Regular Session, as set forth in Senate
Concurrent Resolution No. 5, except Joint Rules 51, 54, 55, 61, and
the provision of Joint Rule 62(a) requiring that the notice of a
hearing of a bill be published in the Daily File, shall govern
relations between the Senate and Assembly for the 2013-14 First
Extraordinary Session and that the extraordinary session shall be in
recess during the same time periods when the 2013-14 Regular Session
is in recess.
