SUBJECT : Joint Rules

DIGEST : This resolution on the date of the adoption of
SCR 5, adopts the proposed Joint Rules of the Senate and
Assembly for the 2013-14 Regular Session, as set forth in
that measure, as the Joint Rules, except as specified, for
the 2013-14 First Extraordinary Session.
ANALYSIS : This resolution on the date of the adoption of
SCR 5, adopts the proposed Joint Rules of the Senate and
Assembly for the 2013-14 Regular Session, as set forth in
that measure, as the Joint Rules, except Joint Rules 51,
54, 55, 61, and the provision of Joint Rule 62(a) requiring
that the notice of a hearing of a bill be published in the
Daily File, shall govern relations between the Senate and
Assembly for the 2013-14 First Extraordinary Session and
that the extraordinary session shall be in recess during
the same time periods when the 2013-14 Regular Session is
in recess.
