Senate Resolution No. 5—Relative to notifying the Governor of the organization of the Senate.

Resolved by the Senate of the State of California, That the
President pro Tempore of the Senate appoint a Special Committee
to wait upon his Excellency, the Governor, and inform him that
the Senate is duly organized for the 2013-14 Regular Session and
is now ready to receive any communication he may have to make
to this House.
