Existing law establishes the Department of Industrial Relations for specified purposes and provides for its administration by the Director of Industrial Relations.
This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to that provision.

Section 51 of the Labor Code is amended to read:

5 shall be appointed by the Governor

7shall receive an annual salarybegin delete provided for byend deletebegin insert pursuant toend insert Chapter
