SB 319, as introduced, Price. Developmental services: regional centers: data compilation.

Under the Lanterman Developmental Disabilities Services Act, the State Department of Developmental Services is required to contract with regional centers to provide services and supports to individuals with developmental disabilities.

This bill would state that it is the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation to require the department to provide quarterly updates regarding the department’s progress in meeting specified data compilation requirements in collaboration with regional centers.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

SECTION 1.  

It is the intent of the Legislature to enact
2legislation to require the State Department of Developmental
3Services to provide quarterly updates regarding the department’s
4progress in meeting the requirements of Section 4519.5 of the
5Welfare and Institutions Code, which requires the department and
6regional centers to annually collaborate to compile specified data

2expenditure by each regional center.
