An act to add Sections 89528.5 and 92612.5 to the Education Code, relating to postsecondary education employees.

SB 495, as amended, Yee. Postsecondary education employees: physicians.

Existing lawbegin insert establishes the California State University and the University of California as 2 of the segments of public postsecondary education in this state. Existing lawend insert requires the Trustees of the California State University to establish a supplemental salary program in order to improve the recruitment and retention of faculty in specified academic disciplinesbegin insert,end insert and requires the University of California to administer the Community-Based Health Professions Education Partnership Program.
