An act to amend Section 8203.2 of the Government Code, relating to notaries public.

Existing law authorizes the Secretary of State to appoint and commission notaries public for the military and navel reservations of the Army, Navy, Coast Guard, Air Force and Marine Corps of the United States, wherever located in this state, subject to specified conditions and limitations.

This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to these provisions.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

SECTION 1.  

Section 8203.2 of the Government Code is
amended to read:

8203.2.

upon the recommendation of the commanding officer of the
reservation in which they are to act, and they shall be authorized
to act only within the boundaries of this reservation.
