An act to amend Section 4075 of the Business and Professions Code, relating to pharmacy.

The Pharmacy Law provides for the licensure and regulation of pharmacists by the California State Board of Pharmacy. The law prohibits furnishing a prescription for a controlled substance that was transmitted by means of an oral or electronic order to an unknown person who is unable to properly establish his or her identity.

This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to this provision.
