SB 711, as introduced, Padilla. Public health: communicable diseases: rabies.
Existing law requires that whenever any case of rabies is reported, the State Department of Public Health must make, or cause to be made, a preliminary investigation as to whether the disease exists, and as to the probable area of the state in which the population or animals are endangered.
This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to that provision.
Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no. State-mandated local program: no.
The people of the State of California do enact as follows:
Section 121595 of the Health and Safety Code
