An act relating to veterans.

SB 759, as introduced, Nielsen. Veterans’ homes.

Existing law provides for the establishment and operation of the Veterans’ Home of California at various sites, and declares that there is in the Department of Veterans Affairs a Veterans’ Home of California, Yountville.

This bill would declare the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation regarding state-operated veterans’ homes.

Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no. State-mandated local program: no.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

SECTION 1.  

It is the intent of the Legislature to enact
legislation regarding state-operated veterans’ homes.
