LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST
SB 1324, as amended, Anderson. California Native American
Memorial.
Existing law prescribes various duties for the Department of
General Services in connection with development and maintenance of

and sacrifice culture made by Native
Americans in California. It would require that the planning,
construction, and maintenance of the memorial
monument be funded with private donations through a nonprofit
foundation to be established.
Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: yes.
State-mandated local program: no.
