An act relating to alcoholic beverages.

SB 1401, as introduced, Block. Alcoholic beverages.

Existing law, the Alcoholic Beverage Control Act, regulates the application, issuance, and suspension of alcoholic beverage licenses by the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control. Existing law provides that a person convicted of a violation of the act is guilty of a misdemeanor unless another penalty or punishment is specifically provided.

This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation to increase enforcement of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Act.
