An act relating to transportation.

LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL’S DIGEST

AB 3, as amended, Frazier. Transportation funding.

Existing law requires the Department of Transportation to improve and maintain the state’s highways, and establishes various programs to fund the development, construction, and repair of local roads, bridges, and other critical transportation infrastructure in the state.

This bill would declare the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation to establish permanent, sustainable sources of transportation funding to maintain and repairbegin delete the state’send delete highways, local roads, bridges, and other critical infrastructure.

Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no. State-mandated local program: no.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

It is the intent of the Legislature to enact
