SUMMARY:
This measure designates, as the "Office Joe Mata and Office
Roberto C. Sanchez Memorial Highway", the portion of State Route
110 between Exits 1A and 1B in the City of Los Angeles.

FISCAL EFFECT:
Minor State Highway Account costs to Caltrans to make and erect
appropriate signs; these costs are fully covered by donations.
COMMENTS:
Purpose. This measure honors two deceased members of the Los
Angeles Police Department. Office Mata, a four-year veteran, was
killed in a vehicle accident on September 19, 2000, and Office
Sanchez, a six-year veteran, was killed in a vehicle accident on
May 3, 2014.
