          SUBJECT:  Immigrant Heritage Month


          SUMMARY:  Proclaims the month of June 2016 as Immigrant Heritage  
          Month.  Specifically, this resolution makes the following  
          legislative findings: 


          1)Generations of immigrants from all around the world built our  
            country's economy and created our nation's unique character.



          2)Immigrants fundamentally enrich the extraordinary character of  
            our nation with their unique cultures, heritages, and  
            experiences.



          3)Immigrants have been tireless leaders, not only in securing  
            their own rights and ensuring access to equal opportunity, but  
            also in campaigning for a fairer and more just society for all  
            Americans.



          4)Immigrants continue to grow business, innovate, strengthen our  
            economy, and create jobs in California.
